My morning walk with the dog is more than just a routine for me - it's my creative fuelling station and mental preparation for the day.

Every morning, whatever the weather, I get up with my dog. The others are still asleep, we're already out and about.

The wind whips in our faces. Sometimes it rains, sometimes it snows. But we walk.

With every step, thoughts are released. Ideas bubble up like a fresh spring and my dog listens patiently. When I go through choreographies.

When I rehearse texts aloud.

When I explore roles.he doesn't make judgements.

Step by step, we recharge our batteries.

For rehearsals.

For performances.

For writing.

When we return, I'm ready. Ready for whatever the day brings.
